About Me

Using many different types of camera's in the years past I have some old cameras that film is no longer available and some cameras the batteries are no longer available. Having a small collection of different Kodak camera's with film like 120, 620, 110, Disc. For the pocket 110 camera's I have lots of 110 film but, cannot get a 538 battery. Its no longer made by anyone. Working at Kodak in Parts Department I asked my Supervisor about them and they haven't been available since 1997. I found a Minolta 430 which is a 110 film camera and operates using a AA battery. Tried this camera out and the pictures turned out super. I guess it was a good investment for a dollar.

The History or Story Behind My Site

This site is about the 4 alarm fire at the Park Lake Motel on North Main Street in Perry, NY on May 18, 2004. I was there taking photos from 2:00 AM to 6:40 AM. There was about 15 departments that all come to our town to bring manpower and equiptment and water. These people are super people helping one another. This is what it takes to be a volunteer fireman.

Others

A special thanks also goes out to the American Red Cross that came to give these now homeless people a place to stay and food and clothing. Also, the Perry Emergency Corporation for helping the firemen and people on the scene the night of the fire. A special thanks goes out to our Perry Ladies Auxilary who came around to every fireman on the scene with cold drinks and hot coffee. Without these Organizations life would be a total nightmare. I am glad to be a part of such a super organization as we have here in Perry.
